With two successful versions of the Jordan Spieth golf shoe under their belt, Under Armour was presented with a unique design challenge for its third generation.

UA wanted to bolster the shoe’s power, consulting with biomechanical experts to ground the shoe longer during a swing, maximizing torque and rotation for a stronger drive.

Meanwhile its namesake, Jordan Spieth himself, requested a shoe that would mimic the unconscious comfort of his lightweight trainers, making his game feel as intuitive and barefoot as possible.

To achieve a fit that felt both grounded and weightless at the same time, Under Armour turned once again to Clarino™ for the upper of the Jordan Spieth 3. Clarino™ microfiber is a material engineered to surpass the benefits and longevity of natural leather. Its balance of flexibility and shape retention comfortably locks the foot into the outsole, which supports vertical and horizontal rotation using its unique asymmetrical cleat design.
